New Austin Landing restaurant to offer dining in ‘world-class’ design

A new restaurant has been approved for Austin Landing that developers say will have a design that is the first of its kind in the country.

A plan to build a Buffalo Wild Wings near the Ohio 741 entrance of the mixed-use retail complex has been approved by Miami Twp. trustees.

BW3 plans to build a 6,657 square foot site between Kohl’s and Kroger, an initial investment of about $6 million on land that is also projected to include office space, said Larry Dillin, president of VisCap Development, which manages Austin Landing.

The restaurant’s rear would face Kohl’s to the south and include 970 square feet of outdoor patio space on the north side, where its entrance would be.

BW3 officials called it “a world-class designed building.” But they did not elaborate on specifics of what it would involve.

Austin Landing has more than a dozen restaurants, bars and eateries, the vast majority near the southern entry way off Austin Boulevard. BW3s would be the first on the development’s northeast side, nearer The Flats at Austin Landing, the Staybridge Suites and the Hilton Garden Inn.
