Once the signs are changed, speed limits on rural section of interstates and the Indiana Toll Road increase from 65 mph to 70 mph. State officials said speed limits on rural sections of four lane divided highway will increase from 55 mph to 60 mph.
Officials said more than 6,000 signs need to be changed. They said the process will take all summer.
