New sporting-goods store to open in Kettering

All Sports Outlet to move into former Blockbuster Video space

A new, family-owned sporting goods store is in the works at 1875 E. Stroop Road at Wilmington Pike, in space that formerly housed a Blockbuster Video store.

“All Sports Outlet” is owned by the husband-and-wife team of Joseph and Carol Rosenkranz of Beavercreek. Joseph Rosenkranz said today he’s shooting to open as soon as early December.

The new store will occupy all of the 6,500-square-food former video shop building that, despite its Stroop Road address, is more visible to drivers on Wilmington Pike. It will employ seven to 12, Rosenkranz said.

“This is a good business opportunity, and it’s a great location,” Rosenkranz said.

All Sports Outlet will offer sports apparel and equipment, including team uniforms, NFL team apparel, and fishing equipment, the store’s co-founder said.
