The entrance to Oakwood High School became an unexpected parking lot. Seniors decided to have a drive-in. About 15 seniors parked their cars on the front lawn.
It is a prank that has actually been pulled by two other senior classes in the past. Senior pranks have become as much of a tradition in Oakwood as academic excellence.
One Oakwood student said, “Something got to do. Something you try to live up to from classes before you. Some are better than others.”
The principal of Oakwood High School is not laughing and is not happy about the prank. He made the students move their cars off the front lawn.
School officials said that because the students did not cause any damage, they will not be punished.
By mid-morning, the cars were gone. Students said they pulled the prank to make other students laugh and make teachers mad, including the principal.
The principal warned that he can suspend or prevent senior from participating in graduation if any more pranks are pulled.
You may remember that four years ago, police charged 15 Centerville students for pulling a senior prank, and they received school discipline as well.
