Opening day today for new pizza restaurant

Jet’s Pizza opened its fifth Dayton-area location this morning at 3979 Indian Ripple Road east of The Greene Towne Center in Beavercreek.

The Michigan-based regional chain, which specializes in Sicilian-style deep-dish pizza, opened its first Dayton-area location on Far Hills Avenue in Washington Twp. in 2009, and now operates two restaurants in Beavercreek in addition to locations in Springboro and Huber Heights. Jake Kogelman, regional manager for the Dayton-area Jet’s locations, said plans call for adding a couple more locations in the region, although no sites have been selected.

Jet’s Pizza is currently hiring “at all locations,” including the new restaurant, Kogelman said. Each location employs 20 to 25.

Hours of the new Jet’s are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to midnight on Friday and Saturday. For more information, call the new Jet’s at (937) 426-3333.
