Here’s the news blurb from The Daily Beast: “The Lincoln Memorial was found vandalized Friday morning when an officer stopped by on patrol around 1:20 a.m. The cop found green paint splattered across the floor of the monument and on the base of the famous statue of Abraham Lincoln. Reporters were unable to see the paint, but said park officials were inside. The monument has been closed indefinitely and an investigation is underway.”
Seriously? What the heck is wrong with some people? Some things in a society should simply be sacred, and not messed with. Put the Lincoln Memorial on that list.
