JC Penney Recalls Disney Toys After Discovery Of Lead

JC Penney stores in the Dayton area are recalling Disney Deluxe Winnie The Pooh Play sets.

The recall was prompted after it was discovered that the toys contain high levels of lead. The Chinese-made toy consists of 23 pieces, including a baby doll, blanket, playpen and stroller.

The items were sold nationwide for two years, starting in August 2005.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission is asking parents to take the play sets away from children and return them to the store for a full refund.
