Police reports: Man found his stolen tools at a pawn shop

July 28

Multiple people were throwing rocks around 10 p.m. at vehicles near Shafor Street at the Norfolk Southern railroad and damaged three vehicles.

July 29

A screw gun and a router were stolen before noon from a home in the 1400 block of Forest Avenue. The owner of the tools found the tools at a pawn shop; they were being kept at his daughter’s house. The tools had his name on them.

Police required Game World, inside Towne Mall at 3461 Towne Blvd., to shut down early because the two employees working were drinking on the job and police had been called out several times, the last being just before 9 p.m.

A purse, which contained a digital camera, cellphone and credit cards, were stolen around 9 p.m. from a purse inside Coin Laundry, 4310 Lewis St.

A purse, with $32, a driver’s license, medication and other personal documents, was stolen before 10 p.m. from a vehicle parked in the 2100 block of Roosevelt Avenue.

A Middletown man said he had his wallet stolen before midnight at U.D.F., 101 N. Verity Parkway, after he believes he believed he left it on the counter.

July 30

Someone stole a riding lawn mower and two radiators before 11:13 a.m. from Neal’s Truck Service, 2090 Oxford State Road.

Someone stole two or three lighters from U.D.F., 101 N. Verity Parkway around 3:36 p.m. and left in a vehicle registered to a 34-year-old Trenton man.

Someone stole more than $800 in knives, two jacks, carpet steamer and $60 in quarters before 4:20 p.m. from a home in the 3300 block of Grand Avenue.

Someone a thrown a rock at a windshield before 4:29 p.m. at a vehicle in the 1700 block of First Avenue.

Two juvenile boys, ages 14 and 16, were caught allegedly stealing from The Finish Line inside Towne Mall, 3461 Towne Blvd. The boys were not charged but ordered to stay out of the store. They were transported to their homes.

A Middletown man said someone stole a gun before 8:12 p.m. from a home in the 2100 block of Fernwood Street.

July 31

A Middletown woman said a person she knows had assaulted her and stole her purse with between $200 and $300 and a cellphone inside before 12:54 a.m. at a home in the 4800 block of Roosevelt Avenue.

Someone had cut the driver’s side tire of a vehicle before 2:17 a.m. parked in the 1900 block of Brentwood Street.

A 31-year-old Middletown woman was arrested at 5:25 a.m. near an intersection of South Sutphin Street and Woodlawn Avenue on suspicion of operating a vehicle while impaired.

An antique plant potter was stolen before 7:40 a.m. from a home in the 3800 block of Grand Avenue. It’s valued at $250.

A television was stolen before 8:30 a.m. from an apartment in the 1600 block of Lamberton Street. It’s value is $615.
