Premier Health plans to announce the completion of the first phase of certification for its affiliation with the renowned MD Anderson Cancer Network at a news conference Wednesday at Miami Valley Hospital South in Centerville, hospital officials confirmed.
Houston-based MD Anderson is one of the nation’s original three Comprehensive Cancer Centers, pioneering the National Cancer Institute guidelines that set the standard of cancer care today.
Under the MD Anderson certification, Premier physicians will have immediate access to their counterparts in Texas for peer-to-peer consultations and the benefit of the cancer center’s world renowned expertise — offering patients and their families enhanced cancer care closer to home.
