Residents Continue To Protest Local Social Club

Residents in Harrison Township continue to protest a local business because of what is going on inside the establishment.

Activists want 2005 to be the year the Dayton Swim and Social Club is shut down for good. They said the club allows sexual activity with multiple partners, creating a concern for the community.

The Dayton Swim and Social Club is an unassuming title, but if you visit their website, it is clear that they cater to a sexually active crowd and lists rules about safe sex with multiple partners.

Inside the building, there are rooms that are referred to as the dungeon, the jailhouse and the jungle room. In one room, a guide showed NewsCenter 7 how a perspective customer can use an adult toy.

It is for those reasons that residents are protesting outside with signs on a regular basis, hoping to grab the attention of township trustees and to get others involved.
