Kansas City Royals outfielder Alex Gordon was not hurt when his car hit a deer in Kansas City, Kansas, on Sunday evening, the Kansas City Star reported.
Kansas City, Kansas, police Chief Terry Ziegler said he did not know the condition of the deer, the newspaper reported.
Typically, deer become a problem for drivers at dawn and dusk.
Ziegler posted a photo of Gordon with an officer on Instagram after the Sunday evening incident.
Gordon batted .245 for the Royals in 2018 with 13 home runs and 54 RBI.
