According to prosecutors in Greene County, Bakari is the so-called ring leaders of a major drug and money laundering operation in Yellow Springs and Columbus.
Prosecutors also said Bakari was a co-conspirator in the robbery attempt of 18-year-old Timothy Lopez in 2002. He was beaten to death, his body burned and the buried in the back yard of Michael Rittenbhouse’s property.
Rittenhouse was convicted of Lopez’s murder in 2005.
