A Sidney-Shelby County mass murdered, Lawrence Michel Hensley formerly of Sidney, is one of three suspects in the death of a fellow inmate in the Toledo Corrections Institution in Toledo.

Hensley is serving 4 life sentences plus 80 additonal years in the deaths of 4 individuals and the wounding of a fifth person back in July of 1999.

In March of 2000 Hensley took a plea bargain instead of going to trial before a three judge panel in Shelby County Common Pleas Court in Sidney.
