Donald Trump event in Cincinnati called off

The Donald Trump rally planned for Sunday in Cincinnati has been cancelled, according to news reports.

Howard Wilkinson reporting for WVXU in Cincinnati just reported that “Eric Deters, a spokesman for the campaign, told WVXU that there were “some problems” with the Duke Energy Center that could not be worked out, but he said the campaign is still trying to schedule a rally with Trump in Cincinnati before Tuesday’s primary election.”

He did say they were looking at other venues.

On Saturday, Trump will hold a rally at 10 a.m. at the Dayton International Airport. Get the details on how to get tickets for that event at DaytonDailyNews.com

Trump events get violent

Facing intensifying criticism for the violent clashes between supporters and protesters that have come to define his rallies, GOP presidential front-runner Trump on Friday continued to taunt those who interrupt his events while promising that police and security would be “gentle” as they removed them.

“They’re allowed to get up and interrupt us horribly and we have to be very, very gentle,” Trump said in response to one of nearly a dozen interruptions as he spoke in St. Louis at the regal Peabody Opera House. “They can swing and hit people, but if we hit them back, it’s a terrible, terrible thing, right?”
