Investigators said it was Amber Sommer’s boyfriend who first alerted police last week. He became suspicious about what he found on a computer in their home.
Lt. Ron Birt with Bellefontaine police said, “He was concerned of a scheme going on that would involve children and adults.”
News Center 7 obtained a police report that details the alleged scheme. Police believe Sommer was planning to offer her children up for sex. She claimed she was part of what she called a "slave master relationship" and was under the control of a Dayton man.
News Center 7 had a camera crew at her home last Friday night in Dayton as detectives from Bellefontaine served a search warrant at the home.
Evidence gathered from computers in the house could be used as evidence in the case.
Sommer’s case is far from over and it's the talk of the town in Bellefontaine, where she was originally charged with prostitution.
Deb Neeley said, “Obviously she has issues. Not just with sex and men, but obviously there’s something with kids too, and that is wrong.”
Sommer, also known as Amber Carter, has now been charged with child endangering.
Police said it could take several weeks until they get results back from forensic tests on the computers that were confiscated.
