The embarrassing Bengals

After watching the Bengals-Jets' last game of the (regular) season, what a total embarrassment the Cincinnati Bengals are. But, of course, what would you expect? They are the Bengals. Yeah, they are going to make the playoffs but they are really embarrassing and they really ought to say, "Hey, look, we don't deserve this." Embarrassing.

We now know why this city is going downhill. It is thanks to councilman (Jim) Armbruster. What sage advice did you give to the new council members? "Have fun. Do not take all things seriously." Mr. Armbruster, we did not elect you to have fun. It is high time you got down to some serious work, like reviving this great city. If you want to have fun, quit your seat and sit at home. We do not need your advice.

On Dec. 24, the Middletown Journal listed all the sheriff sales, and again I picked up The Journal on Jan. 1, New Year's Day, and here we go again with some more foreclosures. That really makes me feel good when I opened up the Middletown Journal both of those days and here are people losing their homes and stuff. It looks to me like you could have at least listed them on another day of the week, instead of on the holidays.

President (Barack) Obama, please remember that Muslim terrorists are at war with what is supposedly your country, whether you are at war with them or not.

They say only the good die young. I guess Fidel Castro proves that correct.

On Dec. 28 President Obama said he wishes the Iranian government would listen to the Iranian people. I respond with — I wish our American Congress would listen to the American people concerning this health care bill.
