Thieves Target Beavercreek Church, Cause Damage

Authorities said burglars targeted the Beavercreek Church of the Nazarene, stole money and then caused a lot of damage.

Police said the burglars broke into the church, which also houses a Christian learning center, and tried to find money and took what appears to be a laptop computer.

Officials from the church arrived Monday morning and discovered broken glass and the facility trashed. Members of the church arrived and began cleaning up the mess, while officers gathered evidence and tried to find fingerprints.

Authorities believe the burglary happened overnight.
