NEW VIDEO shows moment tornado moves through Troy Public Square

An EF0 tornado hit part of Troy on Saturday night, and the moment was captured on camera in front of the city’s public square.

In the above video, you can actually see the movement of the tornado at multiple points in the video.

Below, a separate timelapse video shows the same moment from a different angle. At about 6 seconds in, the camera shakes, and you can see the system rip through the shot.

After conducting a survey in the area, the National Weather Service confirmed on Sunday that a tornado touched down briefly.
