The crash happened around 3 a.m. in the westbound lane of Ohio 73 near Corwin Road, according to the patrol.
The Patrol reports Crawford was driving a black 1994 Ford Ranger westbound when the vehicle went off the right side of the road, struck a wire fence, utility pole and a tree before coming to rest in a field.
Crawford was pronounced dead at the scene.
The patrol reports Crawford was not wearing a seat belt, and the investigation continues to determine if alcohol was a factor.

State troopers said they are investigating a fatal crash that occurred on state Route 73 in Warren County early Sunday morning.
According to the Lebanon Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, troopers and medics were requested near the intersection of state Route 73 and Corwin Road in Wayne Township around 7:30 a.m. Sunday on a reported single-vehicle crash.
Troopers said one vehicle was found crashed in a field and one person was pronounced dead.
Additional information on the crash and possible factors were not immediately available.
The identity of the victim will not be released until family is notified.
