Adams has been charged with two counts of assault, two counts of theft and one count of disorderly conduct while intoxicated.
According to court records, Adams said he had just lost his job and was having a bad day. Adams eventually returned the skateboards to the 12-year-olds.
Adams is being held on $6,000 cash bond. He is in Miami County jail.
