Two Dayton Catholic Schools To Merge

Two Dayton Catholic schools will soon merge after Archbishop Daniel Pilarczyk approved the closing of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic School.

In the fall, Mercy students will attend classes at Queen of Martyrs Catholic School, which is located less than two miles away from Mercy.

The Archdiocese said the merger will battle declining enrollment. Both schools have a combined enrollment of fewer than 300 students.
