VIDEO: Florida man tries to kill his boss

When Renaldo Mendez fired Osorio Reyes for drinking on the job while repairing AC units, Reyes threatened to kill him and tried to follow through with the threat.

“Osorio jumps out of his black pick-up truck, knife in hand wielding it. It happened so quickly. Mendez tries to kick the knife out of his hand and then runs for his life. He is able to pick up a rock and defend himself,” said Carl Zogby of the Hialeah Police Department in Florida.

Reyes took one more shot at killing his former boss when he tried to run him over with his truck.

“... He is dragging a complete fence behind his pick-up truck,” said Zogby.

The victim drove himself to the hospital and actually didn’t want to press charges.

Reyes has been arrested and is facing a second degree attempted murder charge and a possible life sentence.
