Warehouse Fire Ruled Accidental

The investigation continues into a warehouse fire that kept Shelby County firefighters busy on Monday. The fire happened at the old Stolle manufacturing facility near Highland and North streets in Sidney.

City crews worked to clean up the charred remains of the building. Authorities said the streets have been reopened, but yellow tape has been placed around the charred building.

Fire officials said the blaze caused around $100,000 in damage to the building and another $40,000 to the contents.

Investigators said the fire has been ruled accidental. They said the fire was started by a worker using a cutting torch.
