FIRST TAKE
Today should stay rain-free and warm, ideal conditions for a good day at the pool.
"With the recent warmth, unheated pools are back up to or just above 80 degrees," said Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Jamie Simpson.
Skies will become partly cloudy this afternoon as temps reach the mid to upper 80s.
Tonight will be mainly clear. Temps will drop to the upper 60s with spotty fog developing Monday morning.
Simpson said Monday and Tuesday will be partly cloudy with temps in the upper 80s and the chance, especially Tuesday, for an isolated shower or thunderstorm.
On Wednesday, highs will reach the upper 80s but scattered storms are expected to develop ahead of a cold front that arrives later this week.
"The flow ahead of the front will bring in some air a bit more conducive to a few thunderstorms," Simpson said.
High temps drop t the lower 80s on Thursday and Friday as the cold front will bring a greater chance for showers and storms in the morning and afternoon.
