Allure, an apartment community located adjacent to the Cross Pointe Shopping Center, is a joint venture between Beavercreek-based Mills Development and Cincinnati-based Hills Properties. The 312-unit apartment complex is being built on the former Showcase Cinema site that sat vacant for seven years.

Gateway Lofts by Columbus-based developer Hallmark Campus Communities is being developed along East Alex-Bell Road. The company purchased about 40 acres stretching from Alex-Bell to I-675.

Fourteen walk-up apartment buildings are planned as two or three-story in size depending on their location on the property. Apartments will include 256 one-bedroom units and 104 two-bedroom units.
