DETAILED FORECAST

Tonight:  A wintry mix or rain, sleet and some snow will push across the region overnight. A coating of ice or snow is possible, mainly near and north of I-70. Road conditions are expected to remain wet. Temperatures will drop into the lower 30s.

Tuesday: A wintry mix should exit very early in the morning with some breaks in the clouds through the day. Temperatures will rebound into the lower 50s with gusty south winds. A chance for rain showers will develop by late evening. The rain will mix with or change to snow showers as cold air returns late Tuesday night.

Wednesday: A blustery, chilly day is expected with occasional snow showers. Any snow accumulations will remain light, if any, and mainly remain on elevated or grassy surfaces. Highs will top out in the upper 30s.

Thursday: Expect clouds to linger with still a chance for a few passing flurries. Highs will be in the middle 30s with blustery conditions.

Friday: Partly cloudy skies are expected through the day with increasing clouds in the evening. There is a chance for rain or snow showers Friday night. Highs will be near 40 degrees.

Saturday: There is a chance for rain or snow showers, mainly south, early in the morning. Otherwise expect mostly cloudy skies with highs in the middle 40s.
