Woman in crash at busy Middletown intersection in critical condition at Dayton hospital

She was taken to Atrium Medical Center in Middletown, then to Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton where she’s in critical condition this afternoon, officials said.

The driver of the truck, Dustin Miller, 31, of New Carlisle, suffered minor injuries to his hands, according to the OSHP.

Trooper Justin Valentine said no one has been cited in the crash that remains under investigation.

The city is working on “interim measures” to get the traffic signals functioning, but that process may take days, according to a city official. Motorists should consider the intersection a four-way stop.
