Xenia hires former Beavercreek oil company director

The city of Xenia’s new assistant city manager formerly worked for a Beavercreek oil company.

Jared Holloway has been hired to replace the former assistant city manager, Ryan Duke, who was appointed to be the finance director following the retirement of Mark Bazelak.

Holloway formerly worked as director of pricing and supply for the Duncan Oil Company.

His duties there included managing fuel purchases, analyzing the market and competitors and determining customer pricing methods.

Holloway earned a bachelor’s degree in business marketing at Wright State University and a master’s degree in business administration at Cedarville University, according to the city.

Holloway formerly worked at Wright State as a business manager from 2012 to 2014, according to his Linkedin profile.
