Hartley, Nora A.

Age 99, passed away on December 8, 2024 at Berkeley Square Retirement Community. She was born on April 9, 1925 in New Lexington, Ohio, the daughter of James R. and Iris A. (Kincade) Christy. Nora graduated from New Lexington High School in 1943 and married Donald D. Hartley on November 10, 1951. She was a banker at Home Federal Savings and Loan Town and Country Branch for 18 years retiring in 1982. Nora was a lifelong Methodist. She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Hartley Booth of Lakeland, FL, her grandchildren; Steven (Gwynne) Booth, Jacksonville, FL and Emily Smith, Lakeland, FL, and her great grandchildren; Marris Smith and Wren Booth. Nora was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Donald, her brothers Richard, George, Harold, and Raymond Christy, and her sister, Laura Christy Stalter.
