KNOX, Hester Ann

69, of Springfield, passed away December 17, 2020, in her home. She was born October 14, 1951, in Hazard, Kentucky, the daughter of Lewis and

Jenny (Wooten) Grigsby.

Hester was retired from Superior Trim in Springfield. She was an active member of Victory Faith Center, and she enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her kids and grandkids. Survivors include five

children, Shuavon (Stevie) Gilbert, Carla (Casey) Martin,

Bonnie Lewis, Jake (Samantha) Knox, and Michelle Brown (Matt); grandchildren, Anthony, Tammy, Christopher, Shianne, Billy, Brandon, Bradley, Danielle, Jacob, Dylan, Maddison, Ethan, Briella, and Abigail; great-grandchildren, Jasmine,

Stormy, Jakayah, CJ, and Ezra; sisters, Pauline (Earl) Hamblin and Lakie Grigsby (Kirk); and nephews, Lewis and Josh. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Virginia Knox; grandson, Austin Gilbert; and her parents. Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm Monday in Victory Faith Center, 424 S. Fountain Ave. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Tuesday in the church with Hester's sister, Pastor Pauline Hamblin, officiating. Face masks are required. Burial will follow in Enon Cemetery.
