Age 69, of Dayton, OH, passed away on Jan. 13, 2021, in his home surrounded by family. Benio was the second son born to the late Bernard W. Kucharski, Sr., and Edith M.

Carolus on Oct. 11, 1951, in Dayton. He was preceded in death by both of his parents and his closest friend, Tony. He leaves, to cherish his memory, brothers, Charlie (Melody), and Lee (Cecelia), children, Justin Kucharski (Melissa), Heather Stidham (Eddie), granddaughters, Alyssa and Jordan, and great-grandsons, Zaiden and Kaiden and best friends, Dana and Ellen. Affectionately known as Dad, Grandpa, Benio, Beans and Ben. A single father and proud owner of Ben's Batteries, he took pride in his work and worked hard for his children and home. He loved to cook and had a passion for music, harness racing and sports. He taught his children responsibility and stood by them through all life challenges. Services will be held at W.E. Lusain Funeral Home, 2455 Stanley Avenue, Dayton. Visitors are welcome on Jan. 21st at noon. Funeral service will follow and a procession to Willow View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, send donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or to Food for the Poor. Benio was a great listener. His wisdom and sense of humor was one of a kind and he was sure to keep everyone laughing. He will be forever missed.
