Local holiday light displays named some of the best in Ohio

Gates opened over the weekend for the Legendary Lights of Clifton Mill in Greene County. Some of the Miami Valley's very own light displays have garnered statewide attention.

Two area displays -- Clifton Mill and Light Up Middletown -- were included on a list of the 13 best holiday light displays in Ohio, according to onlyinyourstate.com.

Clifton Mill was listed as number 1, and Light Up Middletown clocked in at number 7.
