May may have Cinco de Mayo, but this June, Dayton can celebrate Diez de Junio.

Smokin’ Bee-Bee-Q is hosting a Taco Truck Takeover at the Yellow Cab on Friday, June 10.

“Everyone loves tacos,” Brian Johnson, promoter said. “From traditional to modern fusion stylings, they’re delicious and we wanted to host an event where the trucks can showcase whatever a ‘taco’ means to them.”

Turning into taco trucks for one night only, the announced vendors for the event include The Beerded Pig, Hunger Paynes, The Painted Pepper, Carvaso's, Eat Food Truck, Drunken Waffle, El Meson and Texas Beef and Cattle Co.

Dessert trucks will be on hand, along with draft local craft beer and live entertainment.

“Yellow Cab is a great venue for food trucks,” Johnson said. “Despite a crazy snow squall in April, we had a really good turn out for the Barbecue Rodeo and we hope to keep doing more of these types of events.”
