According to daytonhistory.org, the restaurant, which is open from April through October, "pays homage to Culp's Cafeteria — a renowned Dayton lunchroom that specialized in home-cooked food. Housed in the legendary downtown Arcade, Culp's was Dayton's first restaurant to offer air-conditioning, and featured the first electronic Hammond organ in the area."
You can enjoy a variety of sandwiches and sides, including burgers, hot dogs, and homemade soups.

Admission to Carillon Park is not required to dine at Culp’s. Just enter through the Kettering Family Education Center. Dayton History members will receive a 10 percent discount.
