Downtown Dayton restaurant is now serving brunch

Since Carmen’s Deli opened in downtown Dayton in 2009, locals and outsiders alike have been unable to get enough of the downtown institution. And now, lovers of the cuisine and ambiance inside of Carmen’s Deli will have yet another reason to pay a visit to the restaurant.

Beginning this Saturday, Carmen’s Deli will be serving up a delicious brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the fourth Saturday of every month.

The menu will include specialty egg dishes, egg white omelets, eggs Benedict, a breakfast parfait bar, fresh pastries and of course, as an nod to owner Haitham Imam's home of Jerusalem, Israel, Middle Eastern-style breakfast dishes like the Jerusalem Breakfast. The regular menu will also be served throughout brunch hours.

Carmen's Deli is bringing back Happy Hour on Thursdays and Fridays.

And of course, it wouldn’t be brunch without the healthy assortment of specialty cocktails. Carmen’s Deli will also be offering drink specials on Mimosas, Bloody Mary’s and Sangrias.

Guitarist Gil Gaddis will be performing throughout the brunch event on Jan. 25.
