Favorite pro athlete/why: Tim Tebow. I read his book, Through My Eyes, and it was really humbling.
Favorite smell: Oma’s apple pancakes
Favorite home-cooked meal: My mom’s quiche, but she rarely makes it
Game-day rituals: I always eat all the food I bring to meets after I’m done swimming
Person who would play me in a movie/why: Tom Holland — he’s very relatable and funny, but also forgetful

Biggest influence/why: My first club coach Roy Davis, who always pushed me to try my hardest and was a very respectable guy. I wouldn’t be where I am today without his coaching.

Most embarrassing moment: During a 400m relay freshman year I told one of the seniors on my relay to jump in too early and she landed on the guy who was swimming.
In 10 years I’ll be: Hopefully teaching somewhere helping kids grow and learn
Best thing about swimming: The payoff when you drop time in an event
Worst thing about swimming: Being tired and sore all the time and early morning practices
