Claim to fame: Played varsity all four years, been a captain for the past two years, made sure to always have a positive drive to succeed for the entire team.

Bet you didn’t know: That I’ve been playing this sport for 13 years.

Toughest opponent/why? Myself. I am hard on myself in the leadership role and on the field and want to be the best I can be, so I push and try to make the experiences of each practice and game a great time for myself and the team.

Favorite book: Harry Potter series

Favorite musical artist/song? Rascal Flatts/My Wish

Favorite pro athlete/why? Lionel Messi. He is an astounding athlete with a drive to succeed in each match and it created a role model for me. He shows great sportsmanship and love for the game — it’s inspiring to watch him.

Favorite smell: Chocolate chip cookies

Favorite home-cooked meal: Chicken Tetrazzini

Game-day rituals: Getting everyone on the team pumped up at school and listening to music on full blast all the way to the game and ending on the same song right before I warm up.

Person who would play me in a movie/why? Jennifer Lawrence because she’s so wild and outgoing, which describes my personality as well.

Words you live by: Work hard, play harder.

Biggest influence/why? My parents, who are also my biggest supporters. They push me to be the best I can be at whatever I decide to do, especially school and soccer.

You can’t live without: In all honesty, I can’t live without soccer.

Most embarrassing moment: Getting juked out in front of a student section during a game.

In 10 years, I’ll be: Graduating graduate school and becoming a veterinarian.

Best thing about soccer: It gives me a release of stress and I enjoy working to be a better player; it feels amazing to achieve things.
