Bengals: The one opposing team Aaron Rodgers hasn’t beaten

The Bengals have accomplished a lot since 2010, but perhaps this is the most impressive stat.

Aaron Rodgers, arguably the best quarterback in the NFL and firmly in the all-time discussion, has defeated 30 NFL teams. He obviously can’t beat his employer, Green Bay, making Cincinnati his lone unconquered foe.

It’s one of those oddities of the NFL. New Orleans’ Drew Brees, for example, has defeated every team except Baltimore.

Rodgers has faced the Bengals just twice, going 0-2 with a 2:2 touchdown-to-interception ratio.

The other teams to face Rodgers just twice: Arizona, Cleveland, Kansas City, Denver, Miami, Oakland, New York Jets and Los Angeles Chargers. He managed at least one win against each.

Rodgers technically hasn’t defeated the Steelers in the regular season. He lost their only matchup, but defeated the Steelers for his only Super Bowl title.

Rodgers will have a rare chance to add Cincinnati to his list when the Packers welcome to Bengals to town on Sept. 24.
