IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Bengals announce practice squad

Cut down days are tough for many; a moment they realize football might not be their source of income.

But for others, there’s a silver lining in the practice squad. Eight players who didn’t make the Bengals’ opening roster were added to the practice squad. Given the nature of the NFL, several of them will certainly get the opportunity to suit up for a game at some point.

Note that rosters aren’t final, and teams will continue making tweaks before the first game. Cincinnati opens Sept. 10 against Baltimore
