College Basketball: McLane’s double-double leads Miami past Olivet

Logan McLane recorded his first career double-double Thursday night as the Miami RedHawks wrapped up non-conference play with an 89-69 win over Division III Olivet College at Millett Hall.

McLane finished with 17 points and 10 rebounds.

Michael Weathers (16 points), Rod Mills (11) and Marcus Weathers (11) also reached double figures for Miami (7-6).

Olivet (4-7) was led by Eric Ewing, who scored a game-high 29 points.

Miami opens Mid-American Conference play at Tuesday against Northern Illinois at Millett Hall.
