Bradley hit a shot with less than one second to play to win the game. … UIC has lost three straight games overall and five of their last six. Three of the losses have been by at least 11 points. The only win in that stretch was an 88-83 triple-overtime victory at Youngstown State. … Talton has shot 82 percent from the floor (9-of-11) and made 15-of-17 free throws in the final four minutes of regulation in UIC's six Horizon league victories.
Coach Billy Donlon on Illinois-Chicago: "We have to score more. They do a good job defensively with their zone. They mix up coverages and their man-to-man defense. Anytime you go on the road it's a challenge. They came here and won. They shoot the ball better at home from 3. Their kids play with more confidence like a lot of players do. You've got to be aware of the 3-point line when you play them. Then they've got Crittle inside."
