About Youngstown State: The Penguins beat Loyola 62-60 on Tuesday on a shot by Cole with two seconds left. Belin and Allen each scored 15 in the game. The starters scored all the points, and four players saw a total of 11 minutes off the bench. Cole and Allen each played all 40 minutes. … Youngstown is 3-12 in Horizon League tournament play. It then lost 93-76 to Detroit in the quarterfinals. … The Youngstown Vindicator reported after Tuesday's game that coach Jerry Slocum "all but ruled Kendrick Perry out" for today's game. Perry, a first-team All-Horizon League guard and the team's leading scorer with 16.9 points per game, hasn't played since Feb. 17 because of a knee injury. Donlon said he thinks Perry will play tonight.

Coach Billy Donlon on Youngstown State: "They played Loyola without Kendrick Perry, and they won. They're more than capable of playing well without him. Eargle is a really good player. Belin is a really good player. Cole has emerged, and I'm not saying that just because he made the game-winner. Certainly, Blake Allen can score. They have weapons."
