“I said I was going to win a national championship,” Bell said. “I said I was going to be in the (Jim Thorpe Award) semifinals. I said I was going to be All-American. It all came down to that. It really happened. I lived the dream. I was blessed to be a part of that.”
Asked what would keep him at Ohio State, Bell said, “The people and coach (Urban Meyer). Really, that’s my guy. We’ve had this iron-clad commitment to each other. I just looked to him as a father figure. We have a close relationship.”
On the other side, if he chooses to leave school early to play in the NFL, it would be one simple reason.
“Go live the dream,” Bell said.
