Dayton Flyers tabbed preseason women’s soccer favorites in A-10

The Dayton Flyers are the favorite win the Atlantic 10 women’s soccer championship this fall.

UD received 185 points – including eight first-place votes – in polling of the league’s 14 head coaches.

Also receiving preseason recognition was Alexis Kiehl, who made the preseason All-A-10 team for the second year in a row.

George Washington received five first-place votes and finished second in the balloting.

Winners of 11 regular season A-10 women’s soccer titles, the Flyers finished second in the league standings last season.
