Dayton Flyers junior guard Trey Landers will return to action Tuesday against Davidson at Belk Arena after missing one game with a shoulder injury.
Landers did not play Saturday in a 69-68 loss to Virginia Commonwealth at UD Arena after injuring his shoulder in practice. He sat on the bench with his left (non-shooting) shoulder in a brace. Coach Anthony Grant did not set a timetable for his return, but Landers warmed up with Dayton on Tuesday and will see action against the Wildcats.
The Wayne grad Landers averages 9.2 points and 7.1 rebounds in 30 minutes per game. He started the first 22 games of the season before Obi Toppin took his place in the starting lineup in the last two games.
