On Monday, Greene was named to the all-tournament team at the Flyin’ To The Hoop in Kettering. He scored 25 points in a 62-55 victory against Chaminade-Julienne on Saturday at Trent Arena.
“Greene is wired to score and has the fluidity and ball skills to create and beat guys off the dribble to create his own offense,” wrote Travis Branham, of 247Sports.com. “On Saturday, he did it all at an efficient level scoring 25 points and adding three assists, shooting 9-of-17 from the field and 2-of-5 from three.”
Rice, Southern Methodist, Tulane and Cincinnati are among the most recent schools to offer Greene a scholarship.
Dayton had a number of recruits from the Flyin’ To The Hoop sitting behind the bench Friday during a game against Virginia Commonwealth at UD Arena, including: Jesse McCulloch, a 6-9 forward from Cleveland who received a UD offer in August; Jacob Theodosiou, a 6-3 guard from Western Reserve who received an offer in April; and Damarius Owens, a 6-7 forward from Western Reserve who received an offer in September.
Dayton does not have a commitment from a member of the 2024 class. It has one player in its 2023 class: Jaiun Simon, a 6-foot-7 forward from Mableton, Ga., who committed in October and signed in November.
