Dayton raced out to a double-digit lead early in its Atlantic 10 women’s basketball quarterfinal Friday then held on for a 79-68 win over Richmond.

The top-seeded Flyers led by as many as 21 in the first half but saw the Spiders get within eight with just under three minutes left.
