Here is what fans need to know before they head to UD Arena.
When do gates open?
Fans can enter the arena as early as 5 p.m. That’s 30 minutes earlier than usual. UD is encouraging fans to arrive early because of the new metal detectors at every entrance and the changes to the concourses and seating at the arena.
What’s going on before the game?
Dayton will hold a rededication ceremony celebrating the completion of the three-year UD Arena renovation project. It starts at 6:45 p.m. There will be a brief blessing of the arena followed by “a celebration linking the past to the present with members of the Arena’s first team in 1969-70.” Another presentation will take place just before player introductions.
What’s the halftime show?
“Red Panda” returns to UD Arena with her plate-tossing show.
