Parker Fox has scored 1,357 points in three seasons

Northern State University transfer Parker Fox, an All-American at the NCAA Division II level, listed the Dayton Flyers on a list of eight schools he is considering.

Fox averaged 22.3 points and 9.9 rebounds per game as a junior at Northern State, which is located in Aberdeen, S.D. He’s a 6-foot-8 forward from Mahtomedi, Minn. He scored 1,357 points in three seasons.

“I will be looking for a program where I can come in and make an impact,” Fox told 247Sports.com in March. “I have won 107 games at the Division II level so I think I know what it takes to win in terms of leadership on and off the court. Being a graduate from a university, I feel like I can come in and understand how the game works and I can help a team win.”

Dayton coaches had a virtual meeting with Fox on March 28, according to a report by Jake Weingarten, of Stockrisers.com.

Dayton has two open scholarships for the 2020-21 season. There have been two pieces of roster news since Dayton’s season ended in the first round of the NIT with a loss to Memphis on March 20. Freshman guard Luke Frazier and redshirt senior guard Rodney Chatman both entered the transfer portal.
