Dragons To Play 2 Games Sunday At Home

The Dayton Dragons announced today that last night’s (August 9) game, which was suspended by rain at Lake County, will be completed at Fifth Third Field on Sunday, August 14.

The game will resume at 2 p.m. with Dayton leading Lake County 2-0 at the end of three innings and continue as a scheduled nine-inning game. The game will be followed by the regularly-scheduled game between the Dragons and the Lake County Captains, which will be scheduled for seven innings.

The Dragons play at West Michigan tonight through Friday with all three games starting at 7:00 p.m. (WONE Radio 980 AM). The next home game is Saturday, August 13 vs. Lake County at 7:00 p.m. at Fifth Third Field.

The Dragons enter tonight’s game with a second half record of 28-15. They lead the Midwest League Eastern Division by two and one-half games over second place Lansing.
